This is a utility that kicks ass! I've listed it under both 'utilities' and 'clients' because it nicely adds to any client available. Being developed as part of PCC II (which will be the follow-up to Stefan's PCC client) this is by far the best VCR player to date. When installed in combination with Winplan, it can automatically take the place of Winplan's built-in VCR player.
*NOTE* - PlayVCR is now part of PCC II and that player/users can install PlayVCR without installing the whole PCC II program.
Features:
- plays Host battles from any 3.x Host, and battles from PHost 2.4 to 4.0.
- pretty advanced display engine (more than triangles and crosses)
- full VCR controls (fast forward, rewind, etc.) as known from PCC
- Windows version uses DirectX when possible, but also runs without
- Optional Winplan integration: when you hit the VCR button, you get this player.
- Can use enhanced Winplan / PCC graphics.
